Hedera is a revolutionary proof-of-stake public Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) network that is fast emerging as the gold standard in DLT for enterprise-grade solutions and decentralized applications (dApps). Hedera is governed by a council of the world’s leading organizations - which include Google, Boeing, IBM, Dell, Deutsche Telekom, LG, Abrdn, London School of Economics,  to name a few. 
 
THA works closely with enterprises, startups, governments, and academic and training institutions around the world to deliver financing, custom-design solutions, and professional training and innovation programs, aimed at accelerating the development and utilization of the Hedera Hashgraph network. 
As we undergo rapid expansion, we are establishing offices in strategic locations worldwide. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Requirements Engineer to join our dynamic product development team. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that product requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and effectively communicated.

Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Group Accountant with a strong focus on intercompany accounting to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing consolidated financial reports, performing intercompany transactions and reconciliations, assisting with audit preparations, and supporting financial planning and analysis. This role requires strict attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to summarize and explain financial results accurately and consistently.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary interface to external accounting providers in designated countries.
  • Responsible for intercompany accounting and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare monthly consolidated financial reports, analyze actual financial results versus prior period/budget figures, and provide projections/forecasts.
  • Work closely with the Head of Finance and senior management to develop accurate forecasts and budgets.
  • Support external audits and manage audit-related accounting matters.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, including automation of accounting processes where appropriate.
  • Perform other accounting duties as assigned to support the finance function.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of relevant accounting and/or financial reporting experience, preferably in an international and high-growth environment.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in intercompany accounting and consolidations.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerQuery, and PowerBI.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment and collaborate across multiple teams.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
