The Hashgraph Association (THA) is a global organization headquartered in Switzerland, and is a part of the Hedera Hashgraph (“Hedera”) ecosystem. 
 
Hedera is a revolutionary proof-of-stake public Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) network that is fast emerging as the gold standard in DLT for enterprise-grade solutions and decentralized applications (dApps). Hedera is governed by a council of the world’s leading organizations - which include Google, Boeing, IBM, Dell, Deutsche Telekom, LG, Abrdn, London School of Economics,  to name a few.
 
THA works closely with enterprises, startups, governments, and academic and training institutions around the world to deliver financing, custom-design solutions, and professional training and innovation programs, aimed at accelerating the development and utilization of the Hedera Hashgraph network.

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager with a proven record of successfully leading and delivering intricate projects within large enterprise settings. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of orchestrating the planning, execution, and fruition of Hedera-focused initiatives that catalyze innovation and advancement for our enterprise clients. Your strategic acumen, exceptional leadership, and profound knowledge of the Hedera ecosystem will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless integration and implementation of cutting-edge solutions

Your profile
The Challenge

We’re seeking an experienced HR Manager / Head of HR (Saudi National) who will play a critical individual contributor role in building and scaling our local HR function from the ground up. From setting up HR operations and payroll, to crafting our people strategy, recruiting the first wave of talent, and ensuring compliance with local laws—you will be the go-to person for all things HR. 

You will also manage the entire employee lifecycle—from drafting employment contracts, onboarding new hires, managing day-to-day HR operations, to handling offboarding processes with care and compliance. 
The Responsibilities 
  • Set up and lead the full HR function for our new Saudi entity
  • Drive recruitment efforts during the initial scale-up phase
  • Oversee and manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, payroll, compensation & benefits, development, retention, and offboarding 
  • Design and implement HR policies, processes, and systems in line with local regulations and global standards
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws, GOSI, and Saudization requirements; Communicate with local authorities/ ministries
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on organizational design, talent strategy, and workforce planning
  • Champion employee engagement, performance culture, and internal development
  • Serve as a cultural ambassador, helping embed our values into the local team
The Requirements
  • Saudi National (mandatory)
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a senior HR role
  • Proven experience in setting up a new entity and HR function from scratch in KSA
  • Deep knowledge of Saudi labor law, GOSI, Saudization, and compliance
  • Strong operational expertise (payroll, C&B, onboarding, HRIS, etc.)
  • Passion for recruitment and scaling teams in fast-paced environments
  • Experience in or with start-ups / scale-ups is highly preferred
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Fluent in Arabic and English
