Your profile

As a Junior Accountant, you’ll play an important role in the group accounting department. You will be responsible for operational accounting and controls. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to being a key player in the accounts payable and receivable process as well as reconciliations and recording of day-to-day operational transactions on a global scale. In this role you will have significant interaction with cross functional teams, including external accounting providers and banks.

Your Responsibilities include:
  • Manage the financial workflow of accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and month-end close activities adhering to close calendar
  • Record journal entries and prepare various account analysis for the different entities and for the group
  • Assist in the development, rollout and continuous improvement of procedures and process
  • Support special ad hoc projects as needed

Requirements:
  • Education in Accounting, or in the final semesters to the degree in Finance or equivalent
  • Prior experience within an accounting department
  • Ability to learn and understand financial accounting systems/software
  • Capable of working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities
  • Self-starter and deadline driven person
  • Able to work in multicultural environment, with fluent English
  • Analytical and organized person with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good excel competencies
